Whitney Museum Exit Sequence
The Whitney Museum Exit Sequence is a project done at MFADT in Interactive Spaces, a class taught by Brett Renfer and Adi Marom. Inspired by the extensive collection of artwork and the circulation pattern of the new Whitney Museum, this interactive system aims to further the level of connection that visitors have with the artwork, and give visitors a personalized experience to take away.
The Exit Sequence utilizes the interior staircase to create an interactive image showcase of a selection of work, which responds to hand gestures of the audience. As they proceed towards the lobby, the previous interaction is visualized on both digital and physical form.
